What is Kinetics Analysis?

Kinetics Analysis is a cloud-based application available on the NanoTemper Hub. It helps scientists evaluate binding kinetics data from two sources:

What Does the Kinetics Analysis App Do?

Slow Kinetics Data (Dianthus α)

For raw Slow Kinetics data from Dianthus α, the app processes the binding traces and delivers structured analytical outputs tailored to three distinct interaction types:

  • Tight binding interactions: for high-affinity, non-covalent interactions where equilibrium is reached slowly

  • Covalent inhibitors: for compounds that form an irreversible bond with their target following initial non-covalent binding

  • Slow dissociation events: for compounds with prolonged target engagement, characterized either through calculation or via a displacement experiment

A detailed guide on the combined usage of DI.Control and Kinetics Analysis can be found in Software Workflow - Slow Kinetics.

nanoTAK Data (Monolith Omni)

For nanoTAK data from Monolith Omni, the app processes the kinetic traces and provides the following features:

  • Temperature-induced fluorescence changes: Evaluated across the full ligand concentration series.
  • Global fitting: Applied to extract kon and koff.
  • Time traces and fitted curves: Presented for quality assessment.
  • Export and integration: Results can be exported and merged with affinity data from MO.Control for a consolidated interaction profile.

How to Access the Kinetics Analysis App

Kinetics Analysis access is available for Dianthus alpha instruments with the Slow Kinetics feature enabled and Monolith Omni instruments. For more information about purchase options for Slow Kinetics or Monolith Omni, please contact our specialists.

If you have already acquired the Slow Kinetics feature or a Monolith Omni and require access to Kinetics Analysis on the NanoTemper Hub, please reach out to us at support@nanotempertech.com and state the device's serial number (e.g DI-00123, MM-123).
