Specificity test
When a Ligand-Induced Fluorescence Change is detected that exceeds ± 20%, it is recommended to perform a specificity test to distinguish between specific and non-specific effects. For samples labeled via the His-tag RED-tris-NTA and other affinity-based labeling kits, please see ECP-Test. For other samples, such as RED-NHS or other covalently labeled proteins, please see SD-Test.
